How does Big City Rooms work?

On Big City Rooms many rooms, studios and apartments are offered daily by landlords. Potential tenants can respond to this offer and make an appointment with the leasing party for a viewing. To respond to living space, one small amount is requested. Furthermore, no mediation costs may be charged by the letting party. Furthermore, Big City Rooms does not charge brokerage fees/courtage.

Does Big City Rooms rent out living space themselves?

Big City Rooms does not rent out any living space itself, but is one platform, one meeting place, where housing providers and housing seekers can meet each other. Big City Rooms is not a mediation agency, but a supply and demand site that focuses on residential space throughout the Netherlands and makes it possible for tenants and landlords to contact each other directly without the intervention of mediation agencies that often charge extra costs.

What does Big City Rooms cost?

Before responding to the housing offer from Big City Rooms , one small amount is requested. This amount depends on the contract duration, see Over ons.

How do I pay on Big City Rooms?

If you want to respond to the housing offer and/or place a call, you can pay via IDEAL, Bancontact, a one-time authorization, by credit card or by bank transfer.

Does Big City Rooms work with waiting lists?

Big City Rooms does not work with waiting lists and in principle you can already find one nice room in a few days. Be positive towards the renting party, but at the same time remain critical of the living space. You can see responding to living space as one solicitation. Give an impression of yourself and indicate why you are the right candidate. Big City Rooms does not charge brokerage fees. The price/quality ratio, size of room, legality etc. are important points of attention that you must pay attention to when valuing living space.
